ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer

Date: May 2022
Place: Choose your path - pick your favorite hiking trail or walk through your neighborhood!

This May, walk in a way that's safe for you while connecting virtually with ProHealth Care and fellow participants. Many Walks for Cancer participants are cancer patients, survivors, or caregivers who may be at higher risk for illness. For their protection, and with an abundance of caution, walkers will not gather in the parks this year. Instead, you decide the details of your walk!

The Delafield and Hartland Chambers of Commerce team up each year to produce the annual Connected By Links Chamber Golf Outing hosted by chamber member Western Lakes Golf Club in beautiful Lake Country. Chamber members, associates, and guests, are invited to an 18-hole golf scramble full of fun, food and socializing that creates new friendships and business connections on and off the course.

Waukesha State Bank is excited to once again be the presenting sponsor of the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce 5k Run, Walk & Kids Fun Run! Inspired by the premier of the Yellow Brick Road in 1939 in Oconomowoc, this will be a beautiful summer run that starts and ends at the Village Green Park overlooking Fowler Lake. Refreshment Sponsors will have booths near the finish line and will handout bottled water and snacks – choose from a variety of individually wrapped sweet or salty snacks (remember to social distance please).

Let's celebrate Christmas in July with a run/walk! Race day is exactly 6 months until Christmas Eve! Runners and walkers of all age levels are invited to participate. The run/walk will be held on the Lake Country Trail which will start and end at the Ingleside Hotel. Following the race will be a family friendly gathering in the Ingleside’s backyard where refreshments and food will be available. Proceeds support Christmas Clearing Council's mission and will benefit local children in need at Christmas.

Tall Pines Conservancy's Ride to the Barns

Price: $75/person through August 8th, then $95/person

This annual event, now in its 14th year, is a cycling ride through lake and farm country to benefit the conservation work of Tall Pines Conservancy. The ride features 30, 45 and 60 mile routes, with rest stops at farms where riders enjoy locally sourced food. The event concludes with a post-ride party with food, music and refreshments.

Waukesha State Bank is thrilled to sponsor this event. Plus, our employee volunteer group, Helping Hearts, will be there volunteering so be sure to say hello if you see them!

Your donations directly support patient comfort and healing, and your participation shows your support for Cancer Center staff and patient heroes and encourages hope for a brighter tomorrow.

This year, there will not be organized routes from the hospital. Participants have the opportunity to choose their own path to bike, run or walk at any time and location, and then join for a family-friendly Parking Lot Party!!
